LO1: Analysing existing graphic design for media products notes



Purpose
Promotional, Educate, Entertain, sell products
Three ways that the package is promoting the product.
Format
What type of products are featured in your package that we are analysing? two advantages having packages that are different format in different places
Content
Photographs
typography(font)
colours used
logos used,
bleed, spaces between images
examples of kerning space between letters
example of leading space between lines
empty space focus on key information
examples of anchorage. 
Style
connotation. what about design makes it interesting. Target audience. Genre of the product or the event
Layout
What the different features are placed, Images, text, heading, logos. 
Where are the features in the campaign and why. The use of colours. The background how it effects the layout. The genre of the package.
Target audience
Who is the target audience for the campaign. Who is the target audience for the music and why. Who would able to go to this festival. Gender. stereo types. ideal self, ideal partner. spending power will be high as the tickets will be a lot also alcohol and merchandise.Traveling.
Regulation  
ASA: Advertising Standards Authority, regulate adverts on a range of platforms. harmful, offensive and misleading information. Why there isn't no abusive behaver on our campaigns. As the event will be closed because it mass audience needs to go to the event. what themes could be glorified. Any logos for the bands. need permission
